How to study

Many students have the misunderstanding about study and the efficiency of mind. Most of the students think that the more they study, the more they will learn. They become a bookworm instead spending more and more time on studies. However they learn quite little. There is an optimum for any work which you do.

When you reach your optimum, you should stop you studies and start doing some other work because your mind never accept new things. A student should study daily as near the optimum point as possible but this point differs from person to person from time to time and from one type of work to another type of work.
Every individual has a different Intelligence level so one has to find out his or her optimum point. Optimum is best duration for studying or any other work. It allows you to grasp the things the best as you can according to your level. Before examinations some students do nothing at all except sit in a chair and worry. This is not desirable. Your mind can not rest in this way.
The best way to give rest to your mind is to change the occupation. Variety of occupation is the best method of giving rest to the mind. Revision is the part of study. It helps to assimilate what one studies. When the examinations are near, one must never try to learn new things. Revision should be made only of the known stuffs.
