Fashion And Clothing

According to Shakespeare,"Apparels proclaim a man".

The saying appears to be true since these are the real reflection of a person's personality.
The original idea of wearing clothes was to protect the body from heat or cold and to guard the skin against such dangers as dust and insects. However this object is now forgotten. Clothes are chosen now for their decoration rather than for their usefulness.
This has created a class of very important people, tailors and fashion experts, who are as important members of society as lawyers and engineers. Some of them earn huge amounts of money .It would be highly interesting to study the progress of changing fashions.
What is fashion in another generation is thrown out as obsolete in another generation. If somebody dares to dress himself in the older style, people would laugh at him for being so rude and ignorant to modern fashion.
In our countries of East, however this change is not so marked as in the countries of West. In Europe the dress worn fifty years ago will be completely out of fashion today, but in East, we still have some of the fashions which were common in the days of the Mughal Emperors of India.
At the same time the youth adopts new trends of modern fashion. The world is getting smaller and countries getting close together due to satellite exchange. There are some fashion styles that are commonly adopted in different countries from US to Japan.
